NC. 11249 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 31st day of December 1970, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge No. 2, General and Officers Salary Funds,
as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1374 thru 1375, Voucher Nos. 28046
thru 28006, which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Burney and unanimous-
ly approved by the Court.

assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

N0. 11254 OFFER TO MIRIAM GOFORTH BRO'rII1, MASON COOPER BROWPS, JR., AND CAROLYN BRO'JJN WILEY
FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR F. M. ROAD 480
On this the 31st day of December, 1970, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of compensation to be paid Miriam Goforth Brown, individually and as
surviving widow of Mason Cooper Brown, deceased, together with Mason Cooper Brown, Jr., and
Carolyn Brown Wiley (the aforesaid persons constituting the sole heirs at law of Mason

Cooper Brown, deceased) as consideration for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a
parcel of land required for right-of-way, together with the granting of one channel ease-
ment required for the reconstruction and widening of F. M. Road 480; and after due considera-
tion, it is ordered on motion b•y Commissioner Burney, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and
unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby offers to pay the aforesaid
Miriam Goforth Brown, Mason Cooper Brown, Jr., and Carolyn Brown Wiley the sum of :2,410.03
for land and damages as consideration for their conveyance to the State of Texas of the
aforesaid parcel of right-of-way comprising 5.585 acres of land out of Survey No. 47, B.B.B.
& C.R.R. Co., together with their granting a channel easement comprising 0.088 acres out
of the same survey; and in addition to the foregoing cash consideration, Kerr County will
provide the following:
1. Kerr County will construct approximately 3,420 feet of new livestock fencing along
the new right-o£-way line which fencing shall consist of 39 inch net wire with one barbed
wire on top and pressure treated creosoted posts with 7 inch or better tops set 25 feet
apart with 3 heart cedar stays between.
2. Kerr County will install a total of four 14 foot steel gates to replace the 3 gates
presently opening onto F. P1. Road 480 and the 1 gate at the south end of the field which
opens into the adjacent pasture.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher on the F. M. 480 ROW Fund in the amount of X2,410.03 payable to Miriam Goforth Brown,
Mason Cooper Brown, Jr., and Carolyn Brown Wiley, which voucher shall be delivered upon
receipt o£ the properly executed Right-o£-Way Deed and Channel Easement executed by Miriam
Goforth Browm, individuall~r and as surviving widow of Mason Cooper Brown, deceased; Mason
Cooper Brown, Jr., and wife, Barbara L. Brown; and Carolyn Brown Wiley and husband David R.
Wiley.
