Notice is hereby given that a maintenance tax election will be held in the Divide

COUNTY OF KERR
TO THE HONORABLE COUNTY JUDGE OF KERR. COUNTY:
We, the undersigned resident qualified property taxpaying voters of Divide
Common School District No. 12 in Kerr County, Texas, who own taxable property
in said District and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, desire to in-
crease the maintenance tax rate in said School District, and we hereby pray the
Honorable County Judge and Commissioners Court of Kerr County, Texas, to
order an election to be held in said Divide Common School District No. 12 in
Kerr County, Texas to determine whether or not a majority of the legally quali-
fied resident property taxpaying voters of said District, who own taxable property
in said District and who have duly rendered the same for taxation, increase the
present Maintenance Tax rate of said District and to determine whether the Com-
missioners Court of said County shall be authorized to levy, assess and collect
annually an additional tax of and at the rate of 40 cents, in addition to the present
tax of $1.10 heretofore voted, aggregating a total annual tax of not to exceed $1.50
on the One Hundred Dollars valuation of all taxable property in said District.
