Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found that the bid of Peterson Auto Company, in the amount of :2592.00, which is the total difference to be paid by the Sheriff's Department between the new unit and the 1968 Ford four door sedan, be accepted as the lowest and best bid. NG. 11270 ORDER SETTING COUDITY CFl~'ICIALS ON SAL.IRY BASIS On this the 11th day of January 1'971, at a. Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court, with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of various County Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1971, as provided for in Article 3912e, Section 2, R.C.S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, -according to the last Federal Census and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1971. Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and un- animously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials of Kerr County be paid un a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1971.
