N0. 11265 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF PETERSON AUTO COMPANY FOR ONE 1971 AUTOMOBILE FOR KERR
COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
-- On this the 11th day of January 1y71, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for one 1971 Model four door sedan for the Sheriff's Department, as per specifications
on file in the County Clerk's office.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is
found that the bid of Peterson Auto Company, in the amount of :2592.00, which is the total
difference to be paid by the Sheriff's Department between the new unit and the 1968 Ford
four door sedan, be accepted as the lowest and best bid.

approved by the Court.

On this the 11th day of January 1871, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since

and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Dlos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General Road and
Bridge, General, Officers Salary, County Law Library, Jury and Permanent Improvement and
Kerr County Public Library Funds, as shown in the IvIinutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1377

this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

On this the 11th day of January 1971, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of December of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, and the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved; therefore,	upon motion of Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by
Commissioner Stone,	the Court unani	mously approved that the submitted reports	be accepted
and filed with the	County Clerk for	future reference and subject to audit.

On this the 1].th day of January 1y71, came on to be examined by the Court the semi-
annual report of all receipts and disbursements of bhe County Clerk Trust Fund in the
Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by
her in her official capacity, to officers and persons entitled thereto, and amounts remain-
ing in her hands for the period ---- from July 1, 1970, leaving a balance of w~5.112.27
on de osit in said Trust Fund, for the period ending December 31, 1970. It appearing to
the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved. Motion made by Commis-
sioner Stone, seconded by Commiss~o~re~ ~a~t~loa~dou~ranimously approved by the Court.
NG. 11270 ORDER SETTING COUDITY CFl~'ICIALS ON SAL.IRY BASIS
On this the 11th day of January 1'971, at a. Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation
of various County Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1971, as provided for in
Article 3912e, Section 2, R.C.S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County
has a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, -according to the last Federal Census
and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials of Kerr
County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1971.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and un-
animously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials of Kerr County
be paid un a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1971.
It is further ordered by the Court that the Cleric of the Court prepare a certified
copy of this order and send same to the Comntrolier of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas.
