Schreiner Bank for all County Funds, County and District Court Trust Funds and County Public School r'unds for the next ensuing two years. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11305 ORDER APPROVING APPLICATION OF JUANITA REEVES, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, FOR AUTHORITY TU DEPUTIZE JEWELL SMITH AS DEPUTY TAX-ASSESSOR COLLECTOR On this the 8th day of March 1971, came on to be considered by the Court the applica- tion of Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and deputize Jewell Smith as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said officer is entitled to said Deputy and that the application should be approved; therefore ~_ on motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Jewell Smith as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and that her salary be set at $4365.00 per annum, effective the date of her qualification, the same being the 9th day of March 1971. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11306 ORDER AUTHORI7.ING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF KERR COUNTY SPECIAL RIGHT- OF-WAY FUND IN U. S. TREASURY BILLS On this the 8th day of March, 1971, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Kerr County Special Right-of-Way Fund; and It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury Bills would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwet- helm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas. Schreiner Bank, the official depository of Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S. Treasury Bills with a maturity value of $10,000.00 and maturing on November 30, 1971, for Kerr County and to hold the same in safekeeping; and It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Special Right-of-Way Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bills as aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas.
