On this the 24th day of May 1971, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the Proposed Amendments to the Constitution of
Texas held on May 18, 1971.
Wherefore the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the above-mentioned
Election, is of the opinion that :,aid returns, after having been canvassed and tabulated
in Volume 5, Pages 122 thru 123, Rer,ord of Election Returns, and as certified by each member
of the Commissioners' Court, and upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Bartel, said returns are unanimously approved by the Court.

On this the 24th day of P1ay 1971, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the payment of claims of Election
Offir.ials as per claims on file at $2.OG per hour and the Presiding Judges X5.00 for bring-
ing in returns of Election, including the Absentee Box and payment to various places for the
use of buildings, lights, etc., in the holding of the Constitutional Amendment and Mixed
Beverage Election Pray 18, 1971.

Mae Farr in the amount of $12.00 for labor in getting Election Precinct No. 18 ready for
the Election May 18, 1y71.

Cn this the 24th day of May 1971, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved Spicer Ranch Plat No. 2, provided in
so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways the road easements dedicated for
pu:;lic use and further that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repairs, mainten-
ance, construction and reconstruction of roadways so dedicated.

INC.
Gn this the 4th da•~ of June 1971, came on to be considered by the Court the matter
of entering into a contrast with C. R. Law Tax Records, Inc., for compiling delinquent
tax records for Kerr County, Texas, for the years 1939 thru 1970, inclusive.
Therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel,
the Court unanimously approved that Juanita Reeves, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County,
enter into a contract with C. R. Law Tax Records, Inn., for compiling delinquent tax
records for Kerr County, Texas for the years 1939 thru 1970, inclusive.

assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.

CONTRACT FOR COMPILING A DELIN!~UENT TAX RECORD
FOR KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
THE STATE OF TEXAS ~
COUNTY OF KERR ~ KNOW ALL P1EN BY THESE PRESENTS:
WHEREAS, Article 7336f, Vernon's Revised Civil Statutes of Texas as amended HB 302 Acts
of 62nd Legislaturexegular session 1971, requires that the Assessor-Collector of Taxes
shall cause to be compiled a delinquent tax record; and,
WHEREAS, Article 7336f as amended HB 302 Acts of 62nd Legislature regular session 1971,
further requires that the Assessor-Collector of Taxes shall cause to be prepared a two
year supplement, or a recompilation, when as many as two years taxes have become delinquent
which are not shown on the delinquent tax record of his county; and,
WHEREAS, the Assessor-Collector of Taxes for Kerr County, Texas deems it necessary and
expedient to contract with a competent firm to compile said delinquent tax record under
his supervision; and,
