Taylor and wife, Linda B. Taylor, to grant a parcel of land required for the reconstruction of F. M. Road 480 between Center Point and Camp Verde; and it appearing to the Court th:a it would be in the best interests of Kerr County to accept their proposal. to grant the reauired right-of-way in nonsideration for certain arts to be performed by Kerr County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis- sioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby adepts the proposal of Lloyd F. Taylor and wife, Linda B. Taylor, to grant a ronveyanne to the State of Texas as to 1.y77 acres of land out of Survey No. 46, E. Williams, reauired for the re- construction of F. P?. Road 480, the consideration for the granting of said conveyance beffrg _, the agreement by Kerr County to provide the following: 1. Kerr County will provide a two course asphalt ;and gravel surfacing for a new road- way within a proposed platted subdivision situated in the north portion of the Taylor pro- perty, the said roadway to have a total centerline length of 5400 feet. The asphalt surface ~~~y shall be 18 feet in ~.aidth and be placed upon an 8 innh nalinhe base 24 feet in width, which base shall be put in place at no cost to Kerr County. Kerr County shall have until June 1, 1972, to complete this work, provided the necessary Right-of-Way Deed to the State of Texas is executed and delivered to Kerr County within one week of the entry of this order. 2. M. ROAD 480 On t'r.is the 13th day of September, 1971, name on to be heard and considered by the Court the offer of compromise and settlement relative to the compensation to be offered Ida Limberger Kneese for her conveyance to the State of Texas of three parcels of land required for right-of-way, together with the granting of two channel easements required for the re- construction sand widening of F. Pi. Road 480; and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, secor_ded by Commissioner Stone, and unar_imously approved by -- the Ccurt that Kerr County hereby offers to pay the said Ida Limberger Kneese the sum of X67,500.00 for land and damages for her conveyance to the State of Texas of the aforesaid three parcels of right-of-way comprising 10.515 acres out of Surveys 104 and 1.02, together with 'Ter granting t•,vo channel easements n,omprising 0.308 a^res out of Surveys 104 and 102; and ir. addition, Kerr County will provide the following: L Kerr County will construct approximately 6,500 feet of new livestor,k fenr,ing along the right-of-way lines of the parcels nonveyed, which Penning shall nonsist of 39 inch net wire with one barbed wire on top and pressure treated posts with 6 innh or better tops set 25 feet apart with 3 heart cedar stays between. 2. Kerr County wi'_1 install a total of three 14 foot steel gates, one to replace the present gate anross t're road from the mail box and the other two for acness to the field east of the Witt property and to the strip of lend left between the new roadway and the present route of F. M. ~''-~80. 3. The existing stor,kpass situated west of Station 15b of tiie centerline of the new roadway will be replaced by the State of Texas with one oval metal stonkpass 5'8" wide and 6'6" in heiht so that the landowner's pre-existing rights of stcnk passage may be preserv- ed, and Kerr County will, after construction of the new roadway, nonstrunt necessary fencing to provide •./ings from the end of the stonkpass to the right-of-way fencing. -2- 4. As further consideration for the ,;ranting of the right-of-way conveyed, Kerr County wi_11., after the construction of the new roadway, request the Texas Highway Depart- ment for permission to dose and abandon that portion of the existing route of F. 1vI. 48v lying to the north of the strip o.f Land severed from the eastern portion of the field lying between the Lnphar-i and 'rJitt properties so that the approximately 1.3 anres of the old road- way to be abandoned, which was i.nnluded as a portion of the lands originally donated by the late C. F. Limberger for the construction of the old roadway, may be returned to her by i~uitnlaim Deed and enclosed within her fenced property boundaries by Kerr County. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the F. rT.
