N0. 11445 ORDER AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY JUDGE TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT FOR
RIGHT-OF-WAY PROCUREMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE STATE OF TEXAS AND COUNTY OF
KERR FOR 50-50 RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED ON STATE HIGHWAY N0. 16, FROM F. M. 689,
SOUTH OF KERRVILLE, SOUTH TO INTERSECTION WITH F. M. 1273 IN KERR COUNTY,
TEXAS
On this, the 12th day of October, A.D. 1971, came on for consideration by the Commis-
sioners Court of Kerr County, Texas, convened in Regular Term, the matter of Kerr County
entering into contractual agreement for right of way procurement by and between the State
of Texas, acting by and through the Texas Highway Department and Kerr County, acting by
and through its authorized officials, by executing four copies of Form D-15-38 for the .-.
procurement of right of way on a 50-50 right of way on State Highway No. 16 from F. M. 689,
south of Kerrville, south to intersection with F. M. 1273 in Kerr County, Texas, and that
the County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer, be authorized to sign any other papers that may be
needed during the work on this project.
THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED by the Commissioners Court of Kerr County that Kerr County
enter into Contractual Agreement for Right of Way Procurement by executing four copies of
Form D-15-38 for pronurement of right of way on a 50-50 right of way on State Highway No.
16 between F. M. 689, south of Kerrville and intersection with F. M. 1273, in Kerr County,
Texas; and
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer, be authorized and
he is hereby authorized to sign any other papers that may be needed during the work on
this project.
Kerr County accepts the offer made by the State to waive the requirements that the
County submit property valuations to the State and the State make the determination of ..-.
values at State expense, as provided for in Paragraph 2 under "Determination of Right of
Way Values" in said Contractual Agreerrient.
Upon motion by Commissioner Sehwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the foregoing ~+~

ROAD FUND MONEY
On this the 12th day of October 1971, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund
be established and that the money heretofore received from Chas. Schreiner Bank, Trustee
of Charles Schreiner Road Fund, pursuant to Order No. 11394, be deposited.

N0. 11447 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF HIGHWAY 16 RIGHT-OF-WAY FUND
IN U. S. TREASURY BILLS
On this the 12th day of October, 1971, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain surplus funds currently on deposit in the Highway 16 Right
of Way Fund; and
It appearing to the Court that investment of such funds in United States Treasury Bills

would be advantageous and desirable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, the official depository of Kerr County, be authorized to purchase U. S.
Treasury Bills with a maturity value of $40,000.00 and maturing May 31, 1972, for Kerr
County and to hold the same in safekeeping; and
It is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher
on the Highway 16 Right of Way Fund in the necessary amount to purchase the Treasury Bills
as aforesaid, doing so when advised by the Chas. Schreiner Bank as to the actual purchase
price, and making the said voucher payable as directed by the said bank; and
It is further ordered that the County Judge be authorized to sign any necessary
~ purchase orders or other instruments on behalf of Kerr County.

N0. 11448 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FENCE CONSTRUCTION ON F. M. 480
On this the 12_th day of October 1971, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
._ by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized
to advertise for bids for fence construction on F. M. 480. Bids will be received until
10:00 o'c.loc.k A.M., November 8, 1971, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and
read. Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk. Kerr County reserves
the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published in the official newspaper of Kerr County for two consenutive
weeks, October 20 and 27, 1971.

by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the photo copy of the Right-of-
Way Agreement between Kerr County and Ernst Reeh and wife, Stella Reeh, for right-of-way
granted for F. M. Road 1341 as of March 2, 1951, be recorded in the Minutes of the Commis-
sinners' Court, Nunc Pro Tunc, March 1951.

THAT, the County Commissioners of Kerr County and Ernst Reeh and wife, Stella Reeh,
have this day entered into the following agreement:
Reference is here made to Right-of-Way Deed from Ernst Reeh and wife, Stella Reeh, to
the State of Texas, bearing date of the 2nd day of March, A. D. 1951, covering a road-way
through said Reeh's place as fully shown and described in the deed heretofore mentioned
and this memorandum is made to show the consideration moving from Kerr County to said Reehs
for said deed.
Kerr County, through its proper officers, agree to make the following improvements
through said Reehs property, said improvements to be made at the cost and expense of said
County, as hereinafter set out, to-wit:
The road which is 70 feet in width is to be fenced at the present time on the South
side by moving present fence or fences now located on the property line between Wm. Lich
and Ernst Reeh replacing the necessary gates in said fence; and at such time as may be
requested by the said Ernst Reeh and wife, Stella Reeh, in writing, build fences on the
North and South side of the road through said Ernst Reeh's property, constructed of one
