MATA FUR FEPTCING ON F. M. 480 RIGHT-OF-WAY On this the 8th day of November 1971, came on to be considered by the Court the seal- ed bids for fencing along the right-of-way of F. M. 480, as per specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk. Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found that the bid of Gabriel H. Mata be accepted as the lowest and best bid. Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimous- ly approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11458 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 8th day of November 1971, came on to be examined by the Court the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge No. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 1, General Road & Bridge, General, Officers Salary, County Law Library, Jury, F. M. 480 Right- of-Way and Kerr County Public Library Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts allowed from page 1442 thru 1445 , Voucher Nos. 30471 thru 30595 , which were made a part hereof and of this order. Wilson be employed as Courthouse Custodian, effective November 9, 1971, at a salary of X4,160.00 per annum. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11463 APPROVAL OF EXTENSION OF MONTHLY ALLO'dANCE OF NANNIE SHERMAN On this the 8th day of November 1971, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of Nannie Sherman be extended fora period of six months, from November 1, 1971. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o PIO. 11464 ORDER CALLISIG KERR COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL BONDS, SERIES 1956, FOR REDEMPTION AS OF JANUARY 15, 1972 On this the 8th day of November, 1971, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of calling for redemption certain Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series of 1956; and it appearing to the Court that funds currently available and budgeted for expendi- ture in the year 1972 out of the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the amount of $71,000.00 should properly be applied to redeem, prior to maturity dates, certain bonds of this series and thereby effect a saving of interest costs to the taxpayers of Kerr County, it is hereby ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby declares that it will exercise its option to redeem as of January 15, 1972 and prior to maturity Bonds Number 155 through 225, inclusive, of the Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series 1956, which bonds in the principal amount of X71,000.00 would mature serially from January 15, 1984 through January 15, 1991; and it is further ordered that the Treasurer of Kerr County give notice hereof by a certified copy of this order to the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas, _, and to the State Treasurer, Austin, Texas, and that the County Treasurer cause notice here- of to be published one time at least thirty days prior to January 15, 1972, in the Dallas, Texas edition of the Wall Street Journal, a Financial publication published in the State of Texas; and that the aforesaid Bonds Nos. 155-225 shall cease to bear interest from and
