CCURT RE-CONVENED NOVEMBER 9, 1971 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., with all members
~' present and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NU. 11476 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY FINANCES AND TABULAR STAT:;rTENT OF COUNTY
CLERK OF INDEBTEDNESS, EXPENDITURES AND RECEIPTS OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 9th day of November 1971, came on to be examined by the Court the Quarter-
ly Report and Tabular Statement of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, covering the indebted-
ness, expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the Quarter beginning August 1, 1971
and ending October 31, 1971 and the same having been compared and examined by the Court
and found correct.
Upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court
unanimously approved said report and ordered said report to be filed for future reference
and subject to audit.

N0. 11477 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY TREASURER
On this the 9th day of November 1971, in Regular Monthly Session of the Commissioners'
..~ Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasur-
er of said County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of August 1971 and ending on the
31st day of October 1971 and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and
found correct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received
for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and
become a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds,
since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found
correct as therein shown.
It is ordered by the Court that the said detailed report be, and the same is hereby
approved and the Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts
of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.

COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION NOVEMBER 19, 1971 at 9:00 o'clock A. M., with
all members present and the Court having duly opened, tY_e following proceedings were had:
D10. 11478 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS P`UNDS OUT OF SPECIAL RIGHT OF WAY FU"dD
On this the 19th day of November, 1971, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of reinvesting the proceeds of certain U. S. Treasury Bills with a maturity
value of X10,000.00, which funds will be credited. to the Special Right of Way Fund upon
maturity date of November 30, 1971, and it appearing to the Court that the sum of X10,000.00
out of the Special Ri-ght of Way Fund should be promptly reinvested for an additional period
of six months pending possible need of this fund for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court
.-. that the sum of X10,000.00 out of the Kerr County Special Right of Way Fund be invested in
an Interest Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment
shall be made as soon as the proceeds of the U. S. Treasury Bills maturing on November 30,
1971 have been credited to the Special Right of Way Fund, and that such Certificate of
