Order No, 11,34 Order Canvassing Returns and Declaring Results of Local Option Election on the Subject of the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages in Certain Areas of Kerr County On this the 24th day of May, 1971, came on to be considered by the Court the canvass of the returns of a Local Option Election held in certain areas of Kerr County on the 18th day of May, 1971, which election was held pursuant to the provisions of Senate Bill 346, Acts of the 62nd Legislature and .pursuant to Order No. 11, 325 entered by the Commissioners Court of Kerr County on April 26, 1971, which order is of record in Volume N, Page 215 of the Minutes of the Court; and, The Court now convened in Special Session with all members present having found that such Local Option Election on the subject of the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages has been duly and properly held in those areas of Kerr County where the sale of all alcoholic beverages was legal as of May 18, 197], and that said election was conducted in accord with the provisions of Senate Bill 346 and Commissioners Court Order No, 11, 325, together with applicable laws of the State of Texas and that all returns of said election have been duly made by those persons designated to conduct the same, the Court does hereby declare the re- suits of its official canvass of said returns as follows, to-wit: 1. In Justice Precinct Number One of Kerr County there were cast the following votes: "For the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" 1541 votes "Against the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" IL4~ votes 2. In Justice Precinct Number Three of Kerr County there were cast the following votes: "For the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" 59 votes "Against the Legal. Sale of Mixed Beverages" ~"~ votes 3, In Justice Precinct Number Four of Kerr County, excluding that por- tion of said Justice Precinct which comprised former Justice Precinct Number Six of Kerr County (ingram) on June 18, 1901, there were cast the following votes: "For the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" 9.'s votes "Against the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" 72 votes 4, In Justice Precinct Number Five of Kerr County there were cast -2- the following votes: "For the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" ~l votes "Against the Legal Sale of Mixed Beverages" 19 votes It is therefore found, ordered and declared that effective this date the sale of mixed beverages shall be lawful in the following areas of Kerr County, subject to the applicable provisions of the Texas Liquor Control Act: 1, Justice Precinct Number One 2, Justice Precinct Number Three 3, Justice Precinct Number Four, excluding that portion of said precinct which comprised former Justice Precinct Number Six (Ingram) on June 18, 1901. 4, Justice Precinct Number Five And it is further found, ordered and declared that former Justice Pre- cinct Number Six of Kerr County (Ingram) was, on July 18, 1901, delineated by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at the SW corner of Survey No. 124, F, Martinez THENCE, southwesterly in a direct line projected towards the SE corner of Survey 620, J, W, Burks, on Turtle Greek to the point where said line intersects the SW line of Survey 1134, C, C, S, D, & R, G, N. G, R, R. Co. ; THENCE, NW with the SW line of Survey 1134 to an east corner of Survey 1512, H. W, Raglin, and the north corner of Survey 1942, J. H, Colbath; THENCE, SW to the south corner of Survey 1512 and the east corner of Survey 1173, H, E, & W, T. R, R, Co, ; THENCE, NE to the north corner of Survey 1173; THENCE, SW with the NW line of Survey 1173 and a SE line of Survey 1512 to a SW corner of Survey 1512 in the east line of Survey 1140, E. W, Faulkner; THENCE, north with the east line of Survey 1140 to the south line of Survey 1139, L. A.
