day of February 1972 at 10:00 o'clock A.M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Regular
Term of Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

On this the 14th da,y of February 1972, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, General, Officers
Salary, General Road & Bridge, F. Pi. Lateral, Kerr County Public Library, Count; Law
Library and F. M. 480 Right-of-Way Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from
page 1465 thru 146y , Voucher Nos. 31185 thru 31343 , which were made a part hereof
and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimous-
ly approved by the Court.

On this the 14th day of February 1972, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of Januo-ary of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, and the
same having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and
correct and should be approved; therefore upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unani.riously approved that the submitted reports be accepted

On this the 14th day of February, 1y72, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the Flood Control
Maintenance Fund, and it appearing to the Court that the sum of 511,000.00 out of the
Flood Control Maintenance Fund should be promptly invested For a period of six months
pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
"' sinner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that
the sum of 511,000.00 out of the Flood Control Maintenance F..nd be invested in an lnterest
Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment shall be
made as soon as practicable and that such Certificate of lleposit shad be for a period of

six months from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the 'treasurer be authorized to draw a
proper voucher in the amount of $11,000.00 on the Flood Control P'Iaintenanee Fund to effect
the aforesaid investment with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

Un this the 14th day of February, 172, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of accepting a 40 foot road easement tendered to Kerr County by 509
Securities Corp., et al, which ease:°ient runs from the end of an existing County Road on
Johnson Creek in a southwesterly direction a distance of 2.756 miles to a point oŁ inter-
section with an existing County Road within the B as Springs Ranch and it appearing to the
Court that a roadway has heretofore been constructed on the route of the easement con-
cerned, which roadway should be accepted as and declared to be a public roadway for the
purpose of providing ituproved access to the area presently - - _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
served by the existing County Road at the southwestern terminus of the tendered easement,
it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unani-
mously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the offer of 509 Securities
Corp., et al, to grant the aforesaid 40 fvot road easement across portions of Surveys 419,
J. F. Hernandez, 1625 U.C. & S.F.R.R. and 1182, J. T. Evans, does hereby declare and dPSig-
nate the same to be a Second Class County Roadway;
And it is Further ordered that pursuant to agreement made with the parties concerned
with the granting and opening of this public roadway, Kerr County will pay the sum of
$1,5C0.00 to 50y Securities Corp., a 'T'exas Corporation, as partial consideration for the
granting of the easement concerned;
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher on the General Road and Bridge Fund in the amount of $1,500.00 payable to 50y
Securities Corp. as payment therefor.

N0. 11527 APPROVAL OF REVISED SALARY AhLOCATION FOR THE DISTRICT ATPORNEY'S SECRETARY
FOIE THE 198TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT
On this the 14th day of February 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the revised salary
allocation for the District Attorney's Secretary for the 198th Judicial District, be fixed
at 3$1436.16 per annum, effective February 1, 1972.

On this the l~+th day of February 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum of $8,000.00 from the
General Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners' Precincts:
