Sallee Commissioner Precinct 2 Adolph Bartel Commissioner Precinct 3 Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: N0. 11549 ORDER AU'PHORIZIPIG THE ALAMO AREA COiJNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS TO SOLICIT BID'S FOR LAW ENFORCEI4ENT COPIt7UNICATIONS EQUIPMEiST TO BE PURCHASED BY KERR COUNTY PURSUANT TO CRIMINAL JUS`T'ICE GRANT On this the 28th day of March, 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the Commis- sinners Court of Kerr County convened in Special Session and after the public posting of notice of such session for a period of more than three days, the matter of authorizing the Alamo Area Council of Governments to solicit bids on behalf of Kerr County for the purchase of equipment to be incorporated into a regional law enforcement communications system; and the Court having been advised by the Alamo urea Council of Governments of a 297 Criminal Justice Grant for participating funding for the purchase of such equipment which .... would require an estimated funding participation by Kerr County in the amount of X7,000.00; And it appearing to the Court treat it would be in the best interests of Kerr County to adapt its law enforcement communications for the purpose of incorporation into the proposed regional plan and that it would be financially advantageous to participate in the Criminal Justice Grant presently available for this purpose, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commi.ssi.oner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby autriorizes the Alamo Area Council of Governments to solicit bids on its behalf in connection with the aforesaid Criminal Justice Grant For participa- tion in the regional law enforcement communications System together with such additional compatible communications equipment as Kerr County may elect to purchase in conjunction therewith; provided, however, that bids pertaining to Kerr County's share of tree regional law enforcement communications system and any additional included equipment are subject to final approval based on availability of current funds on deposit in the County Treasury of ^ Kerr County and that such bids are contingent upon the availability and payment of Federal funds to the extent authorized as of the time of placement bids and that this agreement shall in no way constitute an obligation on the part of Kerr County to purchase any item or items of equipment for which bids may be received. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11550 ORDER ACCEPTING PROVISIONS OF STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION MINUTE ORDER N0. 65968 RELATIVE TO CORTSTRUCTION OF STOJI
