these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $41,500.00 out
of t'he Highway 16 Right-of-Way fund be invested in an Interest Bearing Certificate of
Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment shall be made as soon as practicable
and that such Certificate of Deposit shall be for a period of 90 days from date of invest-
ment .
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
proper voucher in the amount of $41,500.00 on the Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund to effect
the aforesaid investment with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

N0. 11595 ORDER ADOPTING RESOLUTION AGREEING TO BECOME A SPONSOR OF THE RESOURCE CONSERVA-
TION & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM OF THE ALAMO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS AND APPOINT-
ING AN OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COUNTY RC & D COMMITTEE
On this the 12th day of June 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously adopted the following resolution:
RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION agreeing to become a sponsor of the Resource Conservation and Development
(RC&D) Program of the Alamo Area Council of Governments and appointing an official
representative to the to the County RC&D Committee.
WHEREAS the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County recognizes the need for the preparation
of an orderly plan for the wise use and development of the natural resources in the AACOG
region, and;
WHEREAS the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County desires that such a plan be prepared,
and;
WHEREAS the Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Program provides the opportunity
for the development of such a plan, and;
WHEREAS this public body is eligible for sponsorship of this program, and;
WHEREAS the Constitution and By-Laws provide for the appointment by each sponsor of
a representative to the County RC&D Committee.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County agrees to
become a project sponsor and appoints W. C. Schwethelm as its official representative to
the County RC&D Committee as provided by the Constitution and By-Laws.
ADOPTED THIS 12th day of June 1972 in a regular session of the Commissioners' Court of Rerr
County at Kerrville, Texas.
