257.98 acres (more or less) Survey 113, Samuel Wallace, Abstract 347 and 252.44 acres of
land (more or less) Survey 114, Samuel Wallace, Abstract 348, with the exception of 25

N0. 11606 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF LEON F. MAPLES, SHERIFF, TO APPOINT VERNON T. GROSS
AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 27th day of June 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the application of Leon F. Maples,
Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, to appoint and deputize Vernon T. Gross as Deputy Sheriff,
to serve as Center Point Nightwatchman, at a salary of $3000.00 per annum, plus $360.00
per annum for car allowance, effective July 1, 1972, said salary payable out of Officers
Salary Fund.
