On this the 10th day of Uctober 1y72, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be
authorized to draw a voucher,payable to Whelan Construction Company, in the amount of
$5,877.84, payable out of the General Road and Bridge Fund, for Cost Estimate No. 2 for
Fall Creek Road Bridge.

N0. 11691 APPOINTMENT OF A. E. STAUDT AS CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS,
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 1972
On this the 10th day of October 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the application of Leon F. Maples,
Sheriff, to appoint A. E. Staudt as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, effective
October 1, 1972, at a salary of $6,435.00 per annum.

Kennedy, who is unable to serve, due to illness.
