Kerr County and the State of 'Pexas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting
a lien on the property which is subject to the said delinquent tax suits, it is ordered on
motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by
the Court that the County Attorney, Spencer Brown, be authorized and directed to proceed to
file an intervention in the said causes as above set forth and otherwise proceed according
to law in this matter.

stock Show Association be granted use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building, January 7
thru January 20, 1973, for the purpose of holding the 29th Annual Hill Country District
Junior Livestock Show, at no charge, other than clean-up.

$3,427.35, payable out of General Road & Bridge Fund, for payment of cost estimate No. 3,
for Fall Creek Road Bridge.

On this the 13th day of November 1972, came on to be examined by the Court Certificate
No. 251 (Certificate of Cancellation), presented to the Court by Juanita Reeves, Tax
Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that the reasons set out
'^ in said Certificate for the cancellation of taxes are good and sufficient; it is therefore
ordered by the Court that the said Certificate be granted and signed by the County Judge.

11T0. 11712 ORDER AUTHORIZING IINESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF GENhRAL ROAD AND BRIDGE
FUND
On this the 13th day of November 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the
Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the General Road and
Bridge Fund, and it appearing to the Court that the sum of $50,000.00 out of the General
Road and Bridge Fund should be promptly invested for a period of six months, pending
possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of
$50,000.00 out of the General Road and Bridge Fund be invested in an Interest Bearing
"' Certificate of Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment shall be made as
soon as practicable and that such Certificate of Deposit shall be for a period of six
months from date of investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a
proper voucher in the amount of $50,000.00 on the General Road and Bridge Fund to effect
the aforesaid investment with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.
