MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for November, 1972 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11724 ORDER CALLING KERR COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL BONDS SERIES 1956, FOR REDEMPTION AS OF JANUARY 15, 1973 On this the 11th day of December 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of calling for redemption certain Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series of 1956; and it appearing to the Court that funds currently available and budgeted for expenditure in the year 1973 out of the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the amount of $20,000.00 should properly be applied to redeem, prior to maturity dates, certain bonds of this series and thereby effect a saving of interest costs to the tax- payers of Kerr County, it is hereby ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby declares that it will exercise its option to redeem as of January 15, 1973, and prior to maturity ~~ Bonds Number 135 through 154, inclusive, of the Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series 1956, which bonds in the principal amount of $20,000.00 would mature serially from January 15, 1981 through January 15, 1983; and it is further ordered that the Treasurer of Kerr County give notice hereof by a certified copy of this order to the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas, and to the State Treasurer, Austin, Texas, and that the aforesaid Bonds Nos. 135 - 154 shall cease to bear interest from and after January 15, 1973, but that all interest due and accrued as of that date shall be paid in the usual manner; and it is further ordered that the proper officers of Kerr County be authorized to draw vouchers on the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the aggregate amount of $20,000.00 for the purpose of redeeming the said Bonds Nos. 135 - 154, inclusive, as they are presented ~~ for redemption. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11725 DECEMBER PAYDAY SET FOR DECEMBER 22, 1972 On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, second- - ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the December 1972 payday be set for December 22, 1972 for officials, employees and allowances. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11726 ANNUAL PAYMENT TO SID PETERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the annual payment be made to the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in the amount of $2500.00, drawn on the General Fund, toward care of indigent patients. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11727 OFFER TO VIRGIL KEITH AND WIFE, FRANCES KEITH, FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 11th day of December, 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land from Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, requir- ed for right-of-way for the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway 16; and it appear- ,... ing the Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willingness to accept a prior letter offer made on behalf of Kerr County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County's offer to pay Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, the sum of $25.00 as compensation and consideration for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land comprising 0.003 acres of land out of Survey 146, W. C. r'rancis, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their properly executed Right-of-Way Deed, which approval shall be conditioned upon final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed; and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $25.00 payable to Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, which voucher shall be delivered to them upon final approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their Right-of-Way Deed. ..., o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11728 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF EMMIE M.
