Bonds Number 135 through 154, inclusive, of the Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series
1956, which bonds in the principal amount of $20,000.00 would mature serially from January
15, 1981 through January 15, 1983; and it is further ordered that the Treasurer of Kerr
County give notice hereof by a certified copy of this order to the Chas. Schreiner Bank
of Kerrville, Texas, and to the State Treasurer, Austin, Texas, and that the aforesaid Bonds
Nos. 135 - 154 shall cease to bear interest from and after January 15, 1973, but that all
interest due and accrued as of that date shall be paid in the usual manner; and it is
further ordered that the proper officers of Kerr County be authorized to draw vouchers on
the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund in the aggregate amount of $20,000.00 for
the purpose of redeeming the said Bonds Nos. 135 - 154, inclusive, as they are presented

On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the annual payment be made to
the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in the amount of $2500.00, drawn on the General Fund,
toward care of indigent patients.

N0. 11727 OFFER TO VIRGIL KEITH AND WIFE, FRANCES KEITH, FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR STATE
HIGHWAY 16
On this the 11th day of December, 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring a parcel of land from Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, requir-
ed for right-of-way for the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway 16; and it appear-
ing the Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willingness to accept a prior
letter offer made on behalf of Kerr County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that
Kerr County's offer to pay Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, the sum of $25.00 as
compensation and consideration for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of
land comprising 0.003 acres of land out of Survey 146, W. C. r'rancis, with payment being
made upon approval for filing and recordation by the 'Texas Highway Department of their
properly executed Right-of-Way Deed, which approval shall be conditioned upon final title
approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed
against the property conveyed; and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer
be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $25.00
payable to Virgil Keith and wife, Frances Keith, which voucher shall be delivered to them
upon final approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their
Right-of-Way Deed.

application of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize

Melinda Ahrens as Deputy County Clerk and it appearing to the Court that said application
should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously that said officer be authorzed to deputize
Melinda Ahrens as Deputy County Clerk, as an extra Deputy, when needed and to be paid on
an hourly basis.

N0. 11729 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR TWO 1973 FOUR DOUR SEDANS FOR KERR COUNTY
SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County
Judge be authorized to advertise for bids for two 1973 four door sedans for the Kerr
County Sheriff's Department.
Specifications are on file in the office of the County Clerk
Bid price to include trade-in of two 1970 Chevrolet four door sedans, less radio and
other special police equipment.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., January 8, 1973, at which time all
bids will be publicly opened and read.
Notices to be published December 13 and 20, 1972.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

N0. 11730 APPLICATION FOR A GRANT AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A KERR-GILLESPIE COUNTY PROBATION
UNIT APPROVED
On this the 11th day of December, 1972, came on to be considered by the Court the
question of the establishment of a Kerr and Gillespie County Probation Unit by filing an
application for Grant to the Texas Criminal Justice Council a copy of which is herewith
deposited with the County Judge, and said application having been examined by the
Commissioners Court, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis-
sioner Stone, and passed by a unanimous vote, that the application for a Grant and estab-
lishment of a Kerr-Gillespie County Probation Unit be approved.

N0. 11731 ORDER DIRECTING COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH A FUND TO BE KNOWN AS REVENUE
SHARING TRUST FUND
On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the County Treasurer
of Kerr County, Texas be directed to establish a fund, to be known as Revenue Sharing
Trust Fund, as a separate account in her books and that all Revenue Sharing Funds received
from the U. S. Government be deposited therein.

On this the 11th day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
