COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION DECEMBER 22, 1972 at 10:45 o'clock A. M., with
the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0. 11736 ORDER OBLIGATING FUNDS FOR PURCHASE OF RADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT PURSUANT
TO BIDS SECURED BY ALAMO AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
WHEREAS, the County of Kerr has been advised by the Alamo Area Council of Governments
of a Criminal Justice Grant with regards to regional law enforcement communications; and
WHEREAS, the County of Kerr has been informed by the Alamo Area Council of Governments
that $ 4409.15 will be the share required from the County of Kerr, under said grant; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners Court of the County of Kerr has authorized the Alamo Area
Council of Governments to solicit bide on its behalf in connection with the Criminal Justice
Grant for partir.ipation in the regional law enforcement communications system.
NOW 'THEREFORE BE I'1' RESOLVED that the amount of $4409.15 pertaining to the share of
the County of Kerr, in this regional law enforcement communications system is obligated by
the County of Kerr, being further subject to the provision that this program is a part of a
federal grant and arty payments herein are contingent upon the availability of said federal
funds.
Motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimous-
ly approved by the Court, this the 22nd day of December 1972.

N0. 11737 APPROVAL OF STATE BOND OF ASSESSOR/COLLECTOR, JUANITA REEVES, FOR TERM BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 1973
On this the 22nd day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the State Bond of Asaeasor-
Collector, Juanita Reeves, for the term beginning January 1, 1973.

N0. 11738 ACCEPTANCE OF FLAT ROCK DAM REPAIRS AND PAYMENT OF FINAL ESTIMATE TO WHELAN
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
On this the 22nd day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, ser_ond-
ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the repairs to Flat
Rork Dam be accepted and that the final estimate No. 4 be paid to Whelan Construction
Company, in the amount of $100.00 and the Clerk and Treasurer are authorized to draw a
voucher, payable to Whelan Construction Company for said amount, payable out of the Flood
Control Maintenance Fund.

N0. 11739 ACCEPTANCE OF CONSTRUCTION OF FALL CREEK BRIDGE AND PAYMENT OF FINAL COST
ESTIMATE TO WHELAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
On this the 22nd day of December 1972, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the ar.ceptance of the
construction of Fall Creek Bridge and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to
draw a voucher in the amount of 5,957.5$, payable to Whelan Construction Company, payable
out of the General Road and Bridge Fund, for the final cost estimate for construction of
Fall Creek Bridge.
