Order No. 1?566 Order Employing Thomas W. Pollard as Special Attorney for Kerr County for Purpose of Intervention in Cause No. 451 on the Civil Docket of the 198th District Court of Kerr County On this the 10th day of April, 1972, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the necessity of intervention in Cause No. 451 on the Civil Docket of the 198th District Court of Kerr County, styled Sam Benbow, et ux, et als, vs. Richard F. Shaheen; And it appearing to the Court that the Defendant in this cause, Richard F. Shaheen, has caused two gates to be locked, which gates are situated on a por- tion of public roadway crossing the Shaheen Ranch and that the said locked gates constitute an obstruction which prevents the continued free and uninter- ru.pted use by the public of a section of roadway running from the proximity of the Sunset Cemetery westerly to the east line of the former F. C. Basse .property which marks the beginning point to four connecting public road ease- ments executed in the year 1957, and which are of record in Vol. 3, Page 226, Page 228, Page 229 and Page 231 of the Easement Records of Kerr County; And it appearing further to the Court that the public interests in this and similar public roadways require protection from unauthorized obstructions erected by private parties, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone , seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County employ the professional services of Mr. Thomas W. Pollard of the Law Firm of Pollard and Pollard as Special Attorney for Kerr County for the purpose of intervention in the aforesaid Cause No. 451 with the aim of preserving and protecting the right of free and uninterrupted public usage of the portion of the public roadway aforesaid through the Richard F.
