KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS° THAT WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court_ of Kerr Coun-y, Texas, sitting as a Board of Equalization, as required by law, has hereto- fore and will in the future have submitted to it, by the Tax Assessor and Collector of said County, for inspection, correction or equalization and approval, renditions of or assessments against off--end--has praperti,~s, other minera~~properties; public utilities, ra-rkro-ads- and other i.nd~.~s~rial aid manufacturing properties, and in the performance of the duties imposed ,by law upon such Board in the inspection, correction, equalization and approval of such renditions or assessments, will have need for technical data and testimon ertainin to such ro erties 'r'e uirin scientific y P g P P q g knowledge, technical skill and experience i.n analysis and appraisal of such properties; and WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Cour* of said County has determined i 'the need and advisability of employing experts skilled in the matter of ganalysis and appraisal of such properties to furnish information to the Board of Equalization for its use in inspecting, correcting, equalizing 1 and approving the renditions of or assessments against such properties duly E submitted to it by the Tax Assessor and Collector, as compared with 9 `valuations of all other properties rendered or assessed in said County; and WHEREAS, it is ascertained and determined that Thos., Y~ Pi.ckett Viand Company, Inc., of Dallas, Texas, are experts with many years exper%- 'once in such matters and employ professional engineers, registered i.n this State, who have scientific and technical knowledge; and WHEREAS, it is found and determined to be to Y_he advantage of the County that said County employ the services of Thos. Y~ Pickett and Com- i n pang, Inc., for said purposes; 1. PARTY OF THE SECOND PART agrees and obligates itself to make such 'analysis and survey as of January 1, 19 74 xx~gxxl~ccxx~ycx~~x~x~ which shall include all of the information which.
