On this the 8th day of January 1973, came on to be considered by the Court the aealod
bide for two 1973 Model Pour door aedane for the Kerr County Sher if P's Department, as per
spec ifiastions on file to the County Clerk's Office.
IIpon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found
that the bid of Tom Benson Company, Ino „ formerly Paterson Auto Company, in the amount of
~2, 920,00 for each unit, which is the total difference to be paid by the Sheriff's Department
between the new units and the trade-in of the txo 1970 Chevrolets, be accepted as the lowest
and beat bid, as Follows:

On this the 8th day of January 1973, at a Regular Term oY the Commissioners' Court,
with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the natter of compensation
of various County and Preoin.ot Officials oY %err County, Tezae, Por the year 1973r ae
provided Yor in. Article 3912x, Section 2, R.C.S. oY Tezae and Article 3912e, Section 6,
R.C.3. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that %err County has a population of lase
than 20,000 inhab itanta, according to the last Federal Census and that the fate rests of
the County would be beet served if the County Offioiale and Precinct Officials of %err
County be paid on a salary basis ae provided by law, for the year 1973.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commleaioner Bartel and
unanimously approved by the Court, it ie ordered that the County OfYioials and Preoinct
Officials oY %err County be paid oa a salary basis ae provided by law, Yor the year 1973,
and for subsequent years, until further ordered.
It ie Yurther ordered by the Court that the Clerk oY the Court prepare a certified
