M. Speer, Sr., to sell to Kerr County and the City of Kerrville the portion of abandoned Railroad Right-of-Way abutting the jointly owned City- County Airport Property and fronting on State Highway 27 in which the Railroad is vested with fee title and it appearing to the Court that such owned right-of-way comprises two parcels of land comprising 11.26 acres of land out of Surveys 43, 44, 71, 72 and 1921 which separate the Airport Property from the North Right-of-Way line of State Highway 27 and that it would be advantageous to Kerr County and the City of Kerrville to acquire owner- ship to the lands aforesaid, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the proposal of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, successors in title to the San Antonio and Aransas Pass Railway Company to convey by special warranty deed its currently existing ownership in the 11.26 acres of land aforesaid (this being subject to the concurrence of the City of Kerrville herein) to the City of Kerrville and Kerr County for a cash consideration of $9,571.00, of which one-half is to be paid by Kerr County and one-half is to be paid by the City of Kerrville, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $4,785.50 on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund, payable to Southern Pacific Transportation Company, which voucher is to be delivered concurrently with a payment of like amount by the City of Kerrville and upon receipt of the seller's properly executed special warranty deed. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11783 ORDER AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF ABANDONED RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTTING AGRICULTURAL BUILDING PROPERTY On this the 12th day of February, 1973 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the proposal of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company, acting by and through its agent and Attorney-in-Fact, J. Johnson as to a portion of a County roadway traversing a portion of Survey No. 127, Lucretia Clawson and in exchange therefor granting a quitclaim deed to an abandoned portion of said County road, and it appearing to the Court that a portion of said original County roadway as conveyed to Kerr County by M. D.
