East of Spur 100 and it appearing to the Court that the Kerrville Independent School

District, owner of the property abutting this section of abandoned Right-of-Way on the
East side, has by and through its Board of Trustees waived its right to purchase any
portion of the said abandoned right-of-way running east from Spur 100 across a portion of
Survey 110, T. M. Minter to its east line and the West boundary of the Lions Camp property,
it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and un-
animously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby accepts the proposal of the
Southern Pacific Transportation Company, successors in title to the San Antonio and
Aransas Pass Railway Company to convey by Special Warranty Deed its existing ownership in
the 3.6 acres of land out of Survey 110, T. M. Minter as aforesaid for a cash consideration
of $3,600.00, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to
draw a voucher in the amount of $3,600.00 on the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund, payable to
the Southern Pacific Transportation Company which voucher is to be delivered upon receipt
of the seller's properly executed special warranty deed.

On this the 12th day of February, 1y73 came on to be heard and considered by the

Court the matter of accepting a quitclaim deed from Dan H. Johnson as to a portion of a
County roadway traversing a portion of Survey No. 127, Lucretia Clawson and in exchange
therefor granting a quitclaim deed to an abandoned portion of said County road, and it
appearing to the Court that a portion of said original County roadway as conveyed to Kerr
County by M. D. O'Quinn by deed recorded in Vol. 113, Page 68, Kerr County Deed Records
has been abandoned and relocated by the necessity of the approval of a subdivision Plat of
the Greenwood Forest Subdivision, which in turn required the relocation of a portion of
said original County roadway which has been designated as Skyline Drive on the said Plat,
it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and un-
animously approved by the Court that Kerr County accept the Quitclaim Deed of Dan H.
Johnson, dated January 19, 1973 as to a portion of the relocated roadway designated as
Skyline Drive, comprising 0.85 acres of land out of Survey 127, Lucretia Clawson and that
in exchange therefor, Kerr County, acting by and through its County Judge, execute and
deliver its quitclaim deed as to the abandoned portion of said original County roadway
comprising 0.89 acres out of original Survey No. 127, Lucretia Clawson and it is further
ordered that the County Judge be and is hereby authorized to execute Kerr County's Quit-
claim Deed as aforesaid and that both of the Quitclaim Deeds concerned be filed for recorda-
tion in the Deed Records of Kerr County.

Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land from John J. Lours, and wife, Anna Barbara
Lours, required for Right-of-Way for the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway 16,
and it appearing to the Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willingness
r to accept the sum of $1,295.00 as total consideration including damages, for their convey-
ance of the tract of land concerned, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, second-
ed by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby

offers to pay John J. Cours, and wife, Anna Barbara Cours, the sum of $1,295.00, as
compensation for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of -
land comprising 0.360 acres of land out of Survey 147, Nathaniel Hoyt, with payment being
made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their
properly executed Right-of-Way Deed, which approval shall be conditioned upon final title
approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed
against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer
be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of

required for Right-of-Way for the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway 16, and it
appearing to she Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willingness to accept
a prior letter offer made on behalf of Kerr County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner
Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm and unanimously approved by the Court that
Kerr County offers to pay Lloyd Colbath and wife, Irene Colbath, the sum of $990.00 as
compensation for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel
of land comprising 0.092 acres out of Survey 146, W. C. r'rancis, with payment being made
upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their properly

On this the 12th day of February 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Castle Lake Ranch,
Section 9, provided in so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways the road
easements dedicated for public use and further, that Kerr County does not assume responsi-
bility for repair, maintenance, construction or reconstruction of roadways so dedicated.
It is further ordered that the action of the Commissioners' Court relative to the roadways
shown on the plat, be shown on the face of the plat, before it will be accepted for filing "-
in the Plat Records of Kerr County, Texas.
