M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND, ROAD AND BRIDGE PRECINCT NU. 2 FUND AND ROAD AND BRIDGE PRECINCT N0. 4 FUND On this the 16th day of February 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in the amounts listed: General Fund ______ $75,000.00 F. M, & Lateral Road Fund ------ 25,000.00 Road & Bridge Precinct No. 2 Fund ------ 10,000.00 and Road & Bridge Precinct No. 4 Fund ------ 10,000.00 and that these funds should be promptly invested for a period of 90 days, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $75,000.00 out of General Fund, $25,000.00 out of F. M. & Lateral Road Fund, $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge Precinct No. 2 Fund and $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge Precinct No. 4 Fund be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposita with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for a period of 90 days from date of investments. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper vouchers on the funds aforesaid and in the amounts above set forth, to effect the aforesaid investments with the Chas. PURVIS AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEAS, TO SERVE AS CHIEF CRIMINAL INVESTIGATOR On this the 16th day of February 1973, came on to be considered by the Court the application of E. A. Schreiber, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize L. H. Purvis as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, to serve as Chief Criminal Investigator and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approv- ed that said officer be authorized to deputize L. H. Purvis as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, to serve as Chief Criminal Investigator and that his salary be set at $6,600.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification, the same being the 16th day of February 1973. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11796 URDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE 1973 FOUR DOUR SEDAN FOR KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT On this the 16th day of February 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be authorized to advertise for bids for one 1973 four door sedan for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department. Muenker, County Clerk, covering the indebted- ness and expenditures and receipts of Kerr County for the Quarter beginning November 1, 1972 and ending January 31, 1973 and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and found correct. Upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimous- ly approved by the Court that said report be approved and ordered said report to be filed for future reference and subject to audit. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11798 APPROVAL OF QUARTERLY REPORT OF COUNTY TREASURER Un this the 16th day of February 1973, in Regular Monthly Session of the Commissioners' Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasur- er of said County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of November 1972 and ending on the 31st day of January 1973 and the same having been compared and examined by the Court and found correct. And it appearing to the Gourt that during the said time the Treasurer has received for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as therein shown. It is ordered by the Court that the said detailed report be, and the same is hereby approved and the Clerk of this Court is hereby ordered to file same in the record accounts of said Treasurer in accordance with this order.
