DEPARTMENT AND PAYMENT OF SAME
On this the 26th day of March 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the acceptance of two 1973 Chevrolet
four door sedans for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department and authorizing payment to Tom
Benson Company, Inc. in the amount of $2920.00 for each unit, with trade-in on each unit,
payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

N0. 11821 KERRVILLE JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GRANTED USE OF AFRICULTURAL BUILDING GROUNDS
On this the 30th day of March 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the Kerrville Junior
Chamber of Commerce be granted use of the Agricultural Building Grounds, between the Kerr
County Livestock Show Barn and the Kerrville Indians Ball Park, for the first week of April,
1973 for the purpose of sponsoring a children's carnival, at no charge, other than clean-up.

N0. 11822 ROBERT LELAND BRANTLEY, SR., APPOINTED JUSTICE OF i'HE PEACE, PRE C. #5
On this the 30th day of March 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Robert Leland Brantley, Sr.,
be appointed to fill the vacancy of the office of Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 5,
effective April 1, 1973, to serve until the next General Election and until his successor
qualifies and that his salary be set at $1800.00 per annum, effective the date of his quali-
fication.

On this the 30th day of March 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the bond of Robert Leland Brantley,
Sr., as Justice of the Peace, Precinct #5, effective the date of his qualification.

N0. 11824 ACCEPTANCE OF PROPOSAL OF SIMMS FIRE EQUIPMENT COMPANY, INC., TO CONSTRUCT FIRE
FIGHTING EQUIPMENT FOR USE BY THE CENTER POINT VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
On this the 30th day of March 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the proposal of Simms Fire
Equipment Company, Inc. to construct fire fighting equipment, for use by the Center Point
Volunteer Fire Department, be accepted for a contract price of $8,497.00.
