On this the 14th day of May, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of fixing the assessment ratio to be employed for the valuation of property on the 1973 tax roll of Kerr County; and it appearing to the Court that by virtue of Order No. 11561 entered on the 11th day of September, 1972, the Court did order that all pro- perties rendered for taxes to the Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County should be rendered at full market value and that the ratio of valuation to be employed for the 1973 tax roll would be subsequently determined, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that all properties shall be placed on the 1973 Tax Roll of Kerr County at twenty-five per cent of their full market value based on renditions made to the `l'ax Assessor of Kerr County or on values ~' i~'. placed on unrendered properties by said Tax Assessor, subject to final adjustments, if any, °L made by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County sitting as a Board of Equalization. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11850 ORDER ACCEPTING OFFER OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRAPISPORTATION COMPANY TU SELL ONE .~ EALF BLOCK OF LAND IN CITY OF KERRVILLE, INCLUDING SITE OF FUBLIC SCALES On this the 14th day of May, 1973, came on to be heard and considered the letter offer of Southern Pacific Transportation Company confirming their prior verbal offer to sell to Kerr County the South East one half of a block o£ land in the City of Kerrville more specifically identified as a portion of Block 57 of the Schreiner Addition to the City of Kerrville, and it appearing to the Court that the land offered is presently occupied by the Kerr County Public Scales and certain livestock pens owned by Kerr County and that additionally the area concerned is needed for equipment and material storage facilities of the County Commissioners of certain precincts, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner ~J ni Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that r ff ~ G^~ ;1 ~ ~ ' Kerr County hereby accepts the aforesaid letter offer of Southern Par,if9c Transportation r , Company to sell to Kerr County the area aforesaid at a price of 3G cents per square foot subject to conditions set forth in said letter offer and that Kerr County does agree to make full payraeizt out of currently available funds for the land concerned upon completion V of a survey to determine the actual size of the land area and final amount of compensation due. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11851 ORDER AUTHORIZING IPIVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF GENERAL FUND, ROAD AND BRIDGE N0. 2 FUND, ROAD AND BRIDGE N0. 4 FUND, F. M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND, GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND AND JURY FUND On this the 14th day of i~'Iay 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in the amounts listed: General Fund $50,000.00 Road and Bridge No. 2 Fund $10,000.00 Road and Bridge No. 4 Fund $10,000.00 F.
