as practicable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for a period of 90 days from
date of investment.

nTO. 11855 ORDER ADJUSTING SALARIES OF DEPUTIES AND CERTAIN OTHL'R ES~D'LOYEES OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 14tY: day of May, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of adjusting the salaries of deputies and certain other employees employed by
the various officials of Kerr County, and it appearing to the Court that an adjustment to
compensate for cost of living increases should be considered in order that the various
employees concerned might be compensated in a manner commensurate with that being offered
by private employees of the community, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, second-
ed by Commissioner Schwethelm, and unanimously approved by the Court that effective June 1,
1973, the salaries of the following deputies and employees of Kerr County shall be paid as
follows on a per annum basis, and be paid respectively from the same funds as presently:

On this the 14th day of May 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that Joe Grady Tuck, District
Attorney of the 2nd 38th Judicial District be granted a rent allowance in the amount of
$1500.00 per annum, effective May 15, 1973, payable out of the General Fund and in such
manner as the District Attorney may direct.
