day of June 1973 at 10:00 o'clock A. P":., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Regular Term
of Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

Pd0. 11864 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 11th day of June 1973, came on to be examined by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were ar~proved for payment by the Clerk
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road <snd Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 2,
3 and 4, General, Officers Salary, General Road and Bridge, County Law Library, Revenue
Sharing Trust and Permanent Improvement Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed
from page 1596 thru 1600 Voucher Nos. 35266 thru 35414 , which were made a part
hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

D?0. 11867 MODITHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERR COUNTY AFPROVED
On this the 11th day of June 1973, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of May of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, and the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved; therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sioner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted
and filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit.

by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the monthly allowance of
Herschal Powell, in the amount of X40.00 per month, be extended for a period of six months,
effective July 1, 1973.

On this the 11th day of June, 1973, upon motion made by Couoaissioner Sallee, seconded

by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of delivery of one 1973
Chevrolet 2yz Ton Dump 't'ruck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 2 in the amount of $4645.00
as per modified specifications and one 1973 Cab/chassis 2~ Ton for use in construction of
a Fire Truck tc be used by the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, i_n the amount of
84495.36, as per specifications. The Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw
vouchers in the above amounts to Tom Benson Company, Inc., payable out of the Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund, to be charged against funds received for the year 1972.

PTO. 11868 ORDER AUTI?ORIZING PAYMENT OF OFFICE RENTAL FUR PROBATION OFFICER
On this the 11th da,y of June 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved an order authorizing payment of
office rental for the Probation Officer of the Second Thirty Eighth Judicial District,
i.n the amount of $100.00 per month, made payable to Leslie Sherman Agency and the Clerk
and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw monthly vouchers, payable out of the General
.~.., Fund for said office rentals effective June 1, 1973.

N0. 11869 ORDER CONFIRMING RESIGNATION OF HENRY AYALA, AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COURTTY,
TEXAS
On this the 11th day of June 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm,
seconded by Commissioner Bartea, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of
Henry Ayala, as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective
May 31, 1973.

OF KERR COUPTTY, TEXAS
On this the 11th day o.f June 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Patsy Cowden,
as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effec-
tive PIay 31, 1973.

?I0. 11871 ORDER AUTHORILINU INVES`1'MENT OP SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF FLOOD CONTROL DAINTENANCE
FUND AND SPECIAL RIGHT-OF-WAY FUND
On this the 1.7.th day of June 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain. funds currently on deposit in the Following funds and in
the amounts listed:
Flood Control Maintenance Fund $ 10,000.OC
Special Right-of-Way Fund $ 12,000.00
and that the sum of $i0,G00.00 out of the Flood Control Maintenance Fund be promptly
invested for a period of six months and that the sum of $12,000.OG out of Special. Right-
of-Way Fund be invested for a period of 90 days, pending possible need of these funds for
expenditure, it is ordered on motion. by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that these sums be invested in Interest
Bearing Certificates of Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Bank and that these investments
shall be made as soon as practicable, and for a period of time aforementioned.
