On this the 19th day of June 1973, came on tc be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of E. A. Schreiber, Sheriff, Łor authority to appoint and deputize Dennis R. Buckner
as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and it appearing to the Court that said application
should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis-
sioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
Dennis R. Buckner as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, effective the date of his quali-
fication, subsequent to the entry of this order, the same being the 19th day of June, 1973,
at a salary of 56,945.OC per annum, payable oat of the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

ed by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Billy J.
White, as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective
June 13, 1.973 and that he be given leave with pay thru June 20, 1973.

by Conrnissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the salary of L. H. Purvis,
Deputy Sheriff - Chief Criminal Investigator be set at 57,400.00 per annum and that the
salary of Jimmy Gibbs, Deputy Sr:eri.ff, be set at 57,200.00 per annum, effective July 1,
1973.

provided in so doing Kerr County does not accept as County roadways the road easements
dedicated for public use and further, that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for
