On this the 9th day of July 1973, upon :notion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, second-
ed by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved sn order creating Jail Planning
Fund, as a separate account on the books of the Treasurer and that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be, and are hereby authorized to transfer the sum of $1,875.00 from the
General Fund to the Jail Planning Fund.

On this the 16th day of July, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of acquiring a parcel of land from Charles M. Moncrief and wife, Laverne F.
Moncrief, required for right of way for the reconstruction of a portion of State Highway
16, and it appearing to the Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willing-
ness to accept a prior letter offer made on behalf of Kerr County; it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Cornmi.ssioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County offers to pay to Charles Ti. Moncrief and wife, Laverr_e F. Moncrief,
the sum of $1,600.00 as compensation and consideration for their conveyance to the State
of Texas of a parcel of land comprising 0.489 acres of land out of Survey 147, Nathaniel
Hoyt, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas High-
