Gn this the 1st day of August 1973, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of E. A. Schreiber, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize Joe F. Gardner as
Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and it acpearin~r to the Court that said application
should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sinner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
Joe F. Gardner as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, effective the date of his qualifica-
tion, the same being Au~-ust 1, 1973, it a salary of X7,200.00 per annum, payable out of
Revenue Sharing Trust Furd.
