On this the 1st day of August 1973, came on to be considered by the Court the applica-
tion of E. A. Schreiber, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize Joe F. Gardner as
Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and it appe~,rin;x to the C,:urt that said ~x,~plication
should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commis-
sinner Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
Joe F. Gardner as Deputy Si_eriff of Kerr County, Texas, effective the date of his cual.ifica-
tion, the same being Au_ust 1, 1973, art a salary of ~7,200.C0 per annur,., payable out of
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
