and it appearing to the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such valuations as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is there- fore ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all properties rendered for 1974 with the ratio of valuations to be employ- ed to be determined subsequently; And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political subdivisions or to any school district. MUENKER, COUNTY CLERK, TO APPOINT LOIS HUDSON, AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK OF KERB COUNTY On this the 10th day of September 1973, came on to be considered by the Court the application of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize Lois Clerk Hudson as Deputy County/ of Kerr County, Texas and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved; therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Lois Hudson as Deputy County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, effective the date of her qualification, the same being September 10, 1973, at a salary of $3,900.00 per annum, payable out of Officers Salary Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 11941 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS OUT OF SPECIAL RIGHT-OF-WAY FUND On this the 10th day of September 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the Special Right-of- '^' Way Fund in the amount of $12,000.00 and that this fund should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposit mature and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $12,000.00 out of the Special Right-of-Way Fund be invested in an Interest Bearing Certificate of Deposit with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investment shall be made as soon as practicable and that such Certificate of Deposit shall be for a period of 90 days from date of investment. And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a proper voucher on the Special Right-of-Way Fund in the amount of $12,000.00 to effect the aforesaid investment with the Chas. Ingram, Don McNew and David Guin be appointed to serve on the Kerr County Veterans Land Board to re- place Raymond Lynch, 0. B. Schwethelm and Earl Garrett, former members who have retired.
