No. ~ and tfie Court awing dully opene t e of owing proceedings wete ha~: NO. 11969 ORDER AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR AID FROM FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION FOR RUNWAY LIGHTING AND VISUAL APPROACH SLOPE INDICATORS FOR LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD On this the 19th day of October, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the necessity of installing a new system of runway lights and visual approach slope indica- tors at the City-County Airport known as Louis Schreiner Field, and it appearing to the Court that these facilities are urgently needed and that funding for same must be provided the Kerrville-Kerr County Joint Airport Board, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County join with the City of Kerrville in making application to the Federal Aviation Administration for funding in the amount of $37,950.00 to be applied toward a total estimated project cost of $50,600.00, and it is further ordered that funding of Kerr County's one-half of the estimated "~ local cost in the amount of $3,162.00 be hereby confirmed as to commitment and availability -'~ and that the County Judge of Kerr County be authorized to sign the aforesaid request for aid for and on behalf of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 11970 ORDER AUTHORIZING REQUEST FOR AID FROM TEXAS AERONAUTICS COMMISSION FOR RUNWAY LIGHTING AND VISUAL APPROACH SLOPE INDICATORS FOR LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD On this the 19th day of October, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the necessity of installing a new system of runway lights and visual approach slope indica- tors at the City-County Airport known as Louis Schreiner Field, and it appearing to the Court that these facilities are urgently needed and that funding for same must be provided the Kerrville-Kerr County Joint Airport Board, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County join with the City of Kerrville in making application to the Texas Aeronautics Commission for ~,% funding in the amount of $6,325.00 to be applied toward a total estimated local cost in the ~M~ amount of $3,162.00 be hereby confirmed as to commitment and availability and that the County Judge oŁ Kerr County be authorized to sign the aforesaid request for aid for and on behalf of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 11971 ORDER AMENDING ORDER NO. 11951 RE: GRANT AGREEMENT FOR FUNDING IMPROVEMENTS AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD AIRPORT On this the 19th day of October, 1973 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of amending its Order No. 11951 entered on the 28th day of September, 1973 and it appearing to the Court that the Federal Aviation Administration has requested that the agree- ment marked "Exhibit A" to said Order No. 11951 be ratified, confirmed and approved nunc pro tune September 25, 1973, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commis- ~~ sinner Sallee and approved by a majority vote of the Court that the aforesaid agreement annex- ed as "Exhibit A" to said Order No. 11951 be in all things ratified, confirmed and approved nunc pro tune September 25, 1973 together with the execution thereof by the County Judge of Kerr County and the attestation thereto by the County Clerk of Kerr County.
