MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for November 1973 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12001 ORDER CALLING KERR COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL BONDS SERIES 1956 FOR REDEMPTION AS OF OF JANUARY 15, 1974 On this the 10th day of December, 1973, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of calling for redemption certain Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series of 1956; and it appearing to the Court that funds currently available and budgeted for expenditure in the year 1974 out of the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund and Kerr County Flood Control Sinking Fund in the amount of $45,000.00 should properly be applied to redeem, prior to maturity dates, certain bonds of this series and thereby effect a saving of interest costs to the taxpayers of Kerr County, it is hereby ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, second- ed by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby declares that it will exercise its option to redeem as of January 15, 1974, and prior to t., maturity Bonds Number 90 through 134, inclusive, of the Kerr County Flood Control Bonds, Series 1956, which bonds in the principal amount of $45,000.00 would mature serially from January 15, 1975 through January 15, 1981; and it is further ordered that the Treasurer of Kerr County give notice hereof by a certified copy of this order to the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville, Texas, and to the State Treasurer, Austin, Texas, and that the aforesaid Bonds Nos. 90 - 134 shall cease to bear interest from and after January 15, 1974, but that all interest due and accrued as of that date shall be paid in the usual manner; and it is further ordered that the proper officers of Kerr County will be authorized to draw vouchers on the Kerr County Flood Control Maintenance Fund and the Flood Control Sinking Fund in the aggre- gate amount of $45,000.00 in such proportion as the Court shall hereafter direct for the purpose of redeeming the said Bonds Nos. 90 - 134, inclusive, as they are presented for redemption. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12002 DECEMBER PAYDAY SET FOR DECEMBER 21, 1973 On this the 10th day of December 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the December 1973 payday be set -~ for December 21, 1973 for officials, employees and allowances. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12003 ANNUAL PAYMENT TO SID PETERSON MEMORIAL HOSPITAL On this the 10th day of December 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the annual payment be made to the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in the amount of $2500.00, drawn on the General Fund, toward care of indigent patients. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12004 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF AQUA VISTA ESTATES On this the 10th day of December 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Aqua Vista Estates. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12005 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF SPANISH OAK ESTATES, SECTION 2 On this the 10th day of December 1973, upon motion made by Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Spanish Oak Estates, Section 2, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12006 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY DEPOSITORY TO MAKE SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES PLEDGED TO SECURE DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FROST NATIONAL BANK TO RELEASE PREVIOUSLY PLEDGED U. S. TREASURY NOTES On this the 10th day of December,1973 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the letter request of the Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to substitute four $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes Series A 1980 for four $100,000.00 U. S. Treasury Notes Series C 1975 now pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, Page 145 of the Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on April 9, 1973; And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to sell said Series C 1975 Treasury Notes and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a substitution of acceptable securities, It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid request of the said Chas. Schreiner Bank ,,,_ be granted and that the said County Depository Bank be authorized to substitute four $100,000.00 U. 5. Treasury Notes Series A dated May 15, 1973 and due May 15, 1980, for the following previously pledged U. S. Treasury Notes: ~`' Four $100,000.00 U. S, Treasury Notes Series C 1975 being Nos. 698, 699, 700 and Vii. 701 dated 2/15/71 and due 8/15/75; And it is further ordered that the Frost National Bank of San Antonio, Texas, the custodian of the aforesaid four U. S. Treasury Notes Nos. 698, 699, 700 and 701 be, and is hereby authorized to release them to the said Chas. Schreiner Bank upon receipt of four $100,000.00 U. S.
