OFFER TO JOHN DAVE COURS AND WIFE JUDITH A. COURS FOR
RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16
On this the 30th day of January, 1973, came on to be heard and con-
sidered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land from John
Dave Cours and wife Judith A. Cours required for right of way for the re-
construction of a portion of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the
Court that the landowners concerned have expressed a willingness to accept
a prior letter offer made on behalf of Kerr County it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay to John Dave Cours
and wife Judith A. Cours the sum of $760.00 as compensation and consider-
ation for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land com-
prising 0.329 acres of land out of Survey 147, Nathaniel Hoyt, with pay-
ment being made upon appYOVal for filing and recordation by the Texas High-
way Department of their properly executed Right of Way Deed, together with
a partial release of an outstanding Vendor's Lien by the First National
Bank of Kerrville, as to the land conveyed, which approval shall be con-
ditioned upon final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes,
including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed,
as well as the execution of the partial release of Vendor's Lien as afore-
said, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be author-
ized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16 Right of 6Jay Fund in the amount of
5760.00, payable to John Dave Cours, Judith A. Cours and First National
Bank of Kerrville, which voucher shall be delivered to them upon final ap-
proval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of their
Right of Way Deed and Partial Release of Vendor's Lien as aforesaid.
