Sallee Adolph Bartel Roger Stone County Judge Commissioner Precinct 1 Commissioner Precinct 2 Commissioner Precinct 3 Commissioner Precinct 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 12025 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF KEN STOEPEL FORD, LINCOLN, MERCURY, FOR TWO 1974 MODEL FOUR DOOR SEDANS FOR THE KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT On this the 14th day of January 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed bids for two 1974 Model four door sedans Łor the Kerr County Sheriff's Department, as per specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk. Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, it is found that the bid of Ken Stoepel Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, be accepted as the lowest and best bid, as follows: Bid No. 1 - Net Difference - $2,485.00 - 1974 Ford Custom 500, 4 door sedan, special equipped, with trade in of 1972 Chev. 4 door sedan. Bid No. 2 - Net Difference - $2,700.00 - 1974 Ford Custom 500, 4 door sedan, special equipped, with trade in of 1971 Chev. 4 door sedan. Motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12026 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 14th day of January 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road No. 1, General, Officers Salary, Revenue Sharing Trust, Jury,Kerr County Public Library, F. M. 480 Right of Way, General Road and Bridge and County Law Library Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1658 thru 1662 Voucher Nos. 37248 thru 37407 which were made a part hereof and of this order. Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12027 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED On this the 14th day of January 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the various reports of December of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, the same having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and should be approved, therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and filed with the County Clerk for Future reference and subject to audit. „~ EMMIE M. Muenker, County Clerk, belong- ing to officers, witnesses and other persons, remaining in her hands uncalled for by the parties entitled thereto, for the period ending the 31st day of December 1973 and held on deposit in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $7308.93. Also Quarterly Report of Fines Imposed, Jury and Library Fees, Judgments received and collected in the County Court by the Clerk of said Court, in the amount of $3428.00. It appearing to the Court that said reports are in due form and should be approved; therefore, on motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved said reports as submitted, to be filed with the County Clerk. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12029 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S SEMI-ANNUAL REPORT ON TRUST FUND AND FINES On this the 14th day of January 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the semi- annual report of all receipts and disbursements oŁ the County Clerk Trust Fund in the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by her in and ending December 31, 1973 her hands for the period from July 1, 1973/and held on deposit in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $7308.93. It appearing to the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved. Motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12030 ORDER SETTING COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS On this the 14th day of January 1974, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court, ~„ with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of various County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1974, as pro- vided for in Article 3912e, Section 2, R. C. S. of Texas and Article 3912e, Section 6, R. C. S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1974. Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1974.
