day of February 1974 at 10:00 o'clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Regular Term
of the Commissioners' Court, with the following officers present:

NO. 12057 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
on this the 11th day of February 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the
last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers
Salary, Jury, General Road and Bridge, County Law Library, Revenue Sharing Trust, Kerr
County Public Library and F. M. 480 Right-of-Way Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts
Allowed from page 1669 thru 1673 Voucher Nos. 37517 thru 37684 which were made a
part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12058 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERB COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 11th day of February 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of January of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, the same
having been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct
and should be approved, therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis-
cioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and
filed with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit.

BRIDGE, GENERAL, F. M. & LATERAL ROAD, ROAD AND BRIDGE 2 AND SPECIAL RIGHT-
OF-WAY FUNDS
On this the 11th day of February 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit in the following funds and in the
amounts listed:
Jury Fund
General Road & Bridge Fund
General Fund
F. M. & Lateral Road Fund
Road & Bridge No. 2 Fund
Special Right-of-Way Fund

and that these funds should be invested as soon as current Certificates of Deposits mature
and the proceeds thereof are deposited to the credit of Kerr County, pending possible need

of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that the sum of $10,000.00 out of
Jury Fund, $25,000.00 out of General Road and Bridge Fund, $100,000.00 out of General Fund,
$65,000.00 out of F. M. & Lateral Road Fund, $10,000.00 out of Road & Bridge No. 2 Fund and
$12,000.00 out of Special Right-of-way Fund be invested in Interest Bearing Certificates of
Deposits with the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be made as soon as practi-
cable and that such Certificates of Deposits shall be for a period of 90 days from date of
investment.
And it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-
said investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

NO. 12060 ORDER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR ONE 1974 TWO TON DUMP TRUCK FOR USE BY KERR
COUNTY PRECINCT NO. 3 and ONE 1974 TWO TON DUMP TRUCK FOR USE BY KERB COUNTY
PRECINCT NO. 4
On this the 11th day of February 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that the County Judge be authorized
to advertise for bids for one 1974 two ton dump truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 3
and one 1974 two ton dump truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 4, with trade-in allow-
ance for one 1964 Chevrolet two ton dump truck by Kerr County Prec. No. 4.
Bids must be for equipment which complies with specifications on file in the office of
the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., March 11, 1974, at which time all bids
will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Notices to be published in the official newspaper for two consecutive weeks - February
13 and February 20, 1974.

NO. 12061 APPORTIONMENT OF $12,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this 11th day of February 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to apportion the sum of $12,000.00 from the General
Road and Bridge Fund to the respective Commissioners' Precincts.

NO. 12062 NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALARY INCREASES OF ELECTIVE OFFICIALS OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 11th day of February 1974, came on to be considered by the Court, the matter
of proposed salary increases for elected County and Precinct Officials ;of Kerr County,
Texas, pursuant to applicable laws of the State of Texas. It is ordered that notice be
published once in the official newspaper of Kerr County, Texas, that it is the intention
of the Commissioners' Court to consider the following proposed salary increases at the
regular March 1974 Term, namely March 11, 1974, and that such increases, if ordered, shall
be effective March 1, 1974;
