Nogues; and it appear- ing that a need exists for an Assistant County Attorney; and it appearing that the said James C. Nogues, County Attorney, has recommended the appointment of Thomas W. Pollard, to the office of Assistant County Attorney; and it appearing that the said Thomas W. Pollard is duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in all the Courts of the State of Texas; and it appearing that the County Attorney is authorized and empowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, to make such an appointment with the consent of the Commissioners Court; THEREFORE, upon the motion of Commissioner Bartel and second by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court, it is hereby ordered that the Commissioners Court of Kerr County grant its consent to the appointment of Thomas W, Pollard to the office of Assistant County Attorney; the said Thomas W. Pollard to have the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and to serve at the expense and will of the said County Attorney. This consent is subject, however, to the said Thomas W.
