day of March 1974 at 10:00 o~clock A. M., in the City of Kerrville, Texas, a Regular Term
of the Commissioners Court, with the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 12068 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF KEN STOEPF~L FORS FOR ONE 1974 DUMP TRUCK FOR USE BY KERB
COUNTY PRECINCT NO. 4 AND ONE 1974 DUMP TRUCK FOR USE BY KERR COUNTY PRECINCT
NO. 3
on this the 11th day of March 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the sealed
bids for one 1974 Model Dump Truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 4 and one 1974 Model
Dump Truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 3, as per specifications on file in the office
of the County Clerk.
Upon opening and reading the bids filed with the County Clerk of the Court, is is found
that the bid of Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., be accepted as the lowest and best bid, as follows:
One 1974 Model two ton dump truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 4, in the
amount of $5250.00, with trade-in of one 1964 Chevrolet Dump Truck Motor No.
406135141124.
One 1974 Model two ton dump truck for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 3, in the
amount of $5850.00 (no trade-in).
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously

NO. 12069 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
on this the 11th day of March 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the
last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 4, General,
General Road & Bridge, Jury, Officers Salary, County Law Library, F. M. 480 R/W, Kerr County
Public Library, Permanent Improvement and Revenue Sharing Trust Funds, as shown in the Minutes
of Accounts Allowed from page 1677 thru 1680 Voucher Nos. 37789 thru 37942 which
were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO. 12070 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 11th day of March 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of February of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, the same having
been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and
should be approved, therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner
Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and filed with
the County Clerk for future reference and	subject to audit.

On this the 11th day of March 1974, came under advisement the proposed salary increases
for certain Elective Officials, as follows:

Upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, with
Commissioners Bartel and Schwethelm and County Judge Neunhoffer voting "AYE" and Commissioners
Sallee and Stone abstaining from voting, said motion carrying by a majority vote, that the
proposed salary increases for certain elective officials, as advertised, be granted, effective
March 1, 1974.
Mr. Leonard F. Girard appeared and voiced his objection to the salary increases and
requested that his objection be reflected in the minutes of the Court.

NO. 12072 TRANSFER OF $1040.00 to SOCIAL SECURITY FUND
On this the 11th day oŁ March 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social
Security Fund from their respective funds:
Officers Salary Fund $785.00
Road and Bridge Fund 235.00
General Fund 20.00
Total $1040.00

NO. 12073 ORDER ADOPTING RESOLUTION - RE: MANPOWER TRAINING PROGRAMS
On this the 11th day of March 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved an order adopting Resolution - Re:
Manpower Training Programs.

manpower training programs throughout the localities;
AND, WHEREAS the same act provides for additional Funds to those groups of local governments
