Kennedy, Applicant has duly filed a Registration with the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas as a Promoter of outdoor music festivals in Kerr County, Texas; AND WHEREAS, on the 12th day of February, 1974 Applicant filed an Application for Outdoor Music Festival Permit and on the 21st day of February, 1974 Applicant filed an Amendment to such original Application, retroactive to the date of Filing of such original Application, both of which filings were more than 60 days before the first date of the first event set forth in such original Application, and both filings having been made with the ~2 7'~j County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas; AND WHEREAS, copies of such original Application and the Amendment thereto were furnish- ed by the County Clerk to the County Health Officer, Dr. T. R. Boyce, all in accordance with law; ANA WHEREAS, a hearing was set on such Application for the 11th day of March, 1974, at a regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas; AND WHEREAS, on or about the 25th day of February, 1974 the County Health Officer, Dr. T. R. On this the 21st day of March 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the acceptance of delivery of one 1974 Ford Custom 500 Four Door Sedan for the Kerr County Sheriff's Department and authorized payment to Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., in the net amount of $2700.00, with trade in of one 1971 Chevrolet four door sedan, payable out of the General Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12087 ORDER CONCERNING PROPOSED METHOD OF FUNDING KERR COUNTY SHARE OF CONSTRUCTION COSTS OF PROPOSED KERR COUNTY/CITY JAIL On this the 21st day of March, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of setting forth the proposed manner of funding Kerr County's share of the con- struction costs of the proposed Kerr County/City jail; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County and the City of Kerrville have heretofore obligated themselves to contribute a sum of $8,001.00 to provide the required cash match for a project entitled "Planning Improve- ments for Kerr County/City Jail", of which Kerr County is obligated for one half of the total amount, namely $4000.50, and it further appearing to the Court trhat it is the desire and present intent of Kerr County and the City of Kerrville to apply to the Criminal Justice Council for a grant to provide funds to supplement those of the County and the City in meet- ing the construction costs of the new jail facility; and it further appearing to the Court that the Texas Criminal Justice Council has requested the advice as to the source and amount of Kerr County's contribution to such funding, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that it is Kerr ~~,,{{,,,, County's present intention to use funds to provide Kerr County's one half of the required O~Y! local matching contribution from funds currently on deposit in Kerr County's General and .r''1''~ Permanent Improvement Funds and, if necessary, such other funds as may become available from anticipated additional ad valorem tax levies for these funds. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED MARCH 21, 1974 at 11:50 o'clock A.
