On this the 7th day of May, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Department as Right
of Way Parcel No. 9 from Elaineti4erlein Terrell and husband, Thomas S. Terrell, for the
reconstruction of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior
negotiations between the prior corporate owners and the present owners and Kerr County an
agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 9 has been arrived at, it
is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Bartel and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Elaine Werlein Terrell, as her separate
property and estate, the sum of $2,254.90 as compensation for land and damages for her
conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land out of Lot No. 6 of
Kerrville Hills Ranch Estates, comprising 0.692 acres out of Survey No. 147, N. Hoyt, with
~~ payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department
of the owners' properly executed right of way deed, which approval shall be conditioned on
final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore
assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered tt;at the Clerk and the
Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher. on the Highway 16 right of way fund in the amount
of $2,254.90 payable to Elaine Werlein Terrell, which voucher shall be delivered to the owner

the said Parcel No. 18 has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers
to pay Kathleen Syfan, a single person, the sum of $3,200.40 as compensation for land and
damages for her conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land out of Lot No. 17 of
Kerrville Hills Ranch Estates, comprising 0.830 acres out of Survey No. 147, N. Hoyt, with
payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department
of the owners' properly executed right of way deed, which approval shall be conditioned on
final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore

of id ay Parcel Nos. 10 and 11 from Lloyd D. Brinkman and wife, Charlotte Brinkman, for the
reconstruction of State Highway 16, and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior
negotiations between the prior corporate owners and the present owners and Kerr County an
agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said parcel Nos. 10 and 11 has been arrived
at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Stone and un-
animously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Lloyd D. Brinkman and wife,
Charlotte Brinkman, the sum of $2,535.11 as compensation for land and damages for their
conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land out of Lot No. 7 of Kerrville Hills
Ranch Estates, comprising 0.778 acres out of Survey No. 147, N. Hoyt, and also the sum of
$1,785.78 for a parcel of land out of adjacent Lot No. 8 comprising 0.548 acres, Survey
No. 147, N. Hoyt, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the
Texas Highway Department of the owners' two properly executed right of way deeds, which
approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, v~,r~
including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ~~
ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Highway 16
right of way fund in the amount of $4,320.89 payable to Lloyd D. Brinkman and wife, Charlotte
