NO. 12123 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 13th day of May 1974, came on to be considered by the Court the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners Precincts since the
last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Clerk and
Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, General, Officers Salary,
Revenue Sharing Trust, General Road & Bridge, Jury, Kerr County Public Library, County Law
Library and F. M. 480 R/W Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed from page 1692
thru 1696 Voucher Nos. 38347 thru 38520 which were made a part hereof and of this
order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously
approved by the Court.

NO, 12124 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICERS OF KERB COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 13th day of May 1974, came on to be examined by the Court the various
reports of April of the County and Precinct Officers of Kerr County, Texas, the same having
been heard and considered by the Court, finds that said reports are true and correct and
should be approved, therefore, upon motion of Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner
Schwethelm, the Court unanimously approved that the submitted reports be accepted and filed
with the County Clerk for future reference and subject to audit.

NO. 12125 ORDER RENE6dING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TEXAS
On this the 13th day of May, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County; and,
It appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with the City of
Kerrville, Texas, will expire on play 31, 1974, and it further appearing to the Court that
the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing
satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to
the best interest of Kerr County to renew such contract for a one year period;
It is, therefore, ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner
Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Contract with the City
of Kerrville, Texas as amended effective June 1, 1970, be renewed for a period of one year
commencing June 1, 1974 and ending May 31, 1975 as provided in Part C of the existing contract,
said renewal to become effective upon the joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter
acceptance as provided for by the terms of Part C, and it is further ordered that the Clerk
of this Court forward a certified copy of this order to the City of Kerrville, Texas.
