MEEKER, City-County Sanitarian, Report for April 1974 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12125 ORDER RENEWING FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE, TE XAS On this the 13th day of May, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by t he Court the matter of providing Rural Fire Protection for Kerr County; and, It appearing to the Court that the existing Fire Fighting Contract with th e City of Kerrville, Texas, will expire on May 31, 1974, and it further appearing to the Court that the existing contract and the working arrangements agreed upon thereunder are providing satisfactory rural fire protection for the citizens of Kerr County and that it would be to the best interest o£ Kerr County to renew such contract for a one year period; It is, therefore, ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Stone and unanimously approved by the Court that the existing Fire Contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas as amended effective June 1, 1970, be renewed for a period of one year commencing June 1, 1974 and ending May 31, 1975 as provided in Part C of the existing contract, said renewal to become effective upon the joinder therein by the City of Kerrville by letter acceptance as provided for by the terms of Part C, and it is further ordered that the Clerk of this Court forward a certified copy of this order to the City of Kerrville, Texas. -- o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO, 12126 GLENN L. REAL, Jig. AND S•1IFE, LILLIAN STIELER REAL FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 13th day of May, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land designated by the Texas Highway Department as right of way parcel No. 30A from Felix R. Real, Jr. and wife, Lillian Stieler Real, for the recon- struction of State Highway 16, ---------- and it appearing to the Court that, as a result of prior negotiations between the owners and Kerr County an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 30A has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commis- sioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offers to pay Felix R. Real, Jr. and wife, Lillian Stieler Real, the sum of $506.00 as compensation for land and damages for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land comprising 0.184 acres out of Survey No. 400, J. L. Lester, with payment being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the Texas Highway Department of the owners' properly executed right of way deed, which approval shall be conditioned on final title approval and payment of all ad valorem taxes, including current taxes heretofore assessed against the property conveyed, and it is further ordered that the Clerk and the Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the FIighway 16 right of way fund in the amount of $506.00 payable to Felix R.
