COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION MAY 31, 1974 at 9:45 o'clock A. M., with the
following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:	
NO. 12139 ORDER CONCUKKING IN AMENDMENTS TO FIRE FIGHTING CONTRACT WITH THE CITY OF	
KERRVILLE, TEXAS	
On this the 31st day of May, 1974, came on to be heard and considered %y the Court the	
proposed amendments to the existing fire fighting contract with the City of Kerrville, Texas,	
as proposed by the City Council of the City of Kerrville subsequent to the entry Commissioners'	
Court Order No. 12125 entered by the Court on the 13th day of May, 1974, which order proposed	
to extend the existing contract for a one year period commencing June 1, 1974; and it appear-	
ing to the Court that the proposed amendments submitted by the City of Kerrville as a condi-	
tion to the renewal of the present contract for a one year period are justified by reason	
of the increased costs of operating the Fire Department of the City of Kerrville since the	
time of the original agreement of the parties '.ahen the amount of compensation to be paid the	
Citv of Kerrville was arrived at, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded	
by Commissioner Stone, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County does hereby	
concur with the proposal to extend the existing fire fighting contract between the parties

for a one year period commencing June 1, 1974 and ending May 31, 1975 with amendments to	~

provide that the City of Kerrville is to be paid the sum of $250.00 for each call answered	~~
except when the call is answered to the jointly owned City-County airport property when the	
payment shall be $125.00.

N0. 12140 ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY OF ONE 1974 FORD F 602 134 CHASSIS CAB FOR USE SY KERR
COUNTY PRECINCT NO. 4 IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,250.00 AND AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF
SAME TO KEN STOEPEL FORD, INC.
On this the 31st day of May 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously accepted delivery of one 1974 Ford F 602 134
Chassis Cab for use by Kerr County Precinct No. 4, in the amount of $5,250.00, with trade-in
of one 1964 Chevrolet Dump Truck, payable out of General Road and Bridge Fund, and that the
Cleric and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $5,250.00, made payable
to Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., for said truck.
