C. Duderstadt Ranch properties which formerly was used as an access between that property generally known as the Reservation area of Kerr County, Texas, to the Harper-Kerrville Road. Said road is no longer used as a through road since the construction of IH 10 which divides said road. Said road begins off of State Highway No. 27 at the property line of Dr. James A. Bloys (formerly J. F. Duderstadt) for a distance of 1 mile through the property of Dr. James A. Bloys where it terminates at the road bed and right of way line of IH 10. Beginning again at distance of approximately 600 feet on the opposite side of Iii 10 on the J. F. Duderstadt Ranch for a distance of .6 of a mile; thence .3 of a mile through property owned by Leona Ellebracht; and then through property owned by Clarence St. Clair to Farm to Market Road #479; said road formerly utilized as a public road; and WHEREAS, said road has become, due to the construction of IH 10, impossible to use as a through road for access from the Reservation area to the Harper-Kerrville Road; and WHEREAS, there now exists other roads maintained by the State of Texas for access to all areas in question which are more accessible and more convenient of use and provide more permanent access for all persons concerned and provide a more reliable means of ingress and egress to the properties involved; and WHEREAS, the road above described is no longer required as a public road; NOW, THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That pursuant to Article 6703, V.A.T.S., amd Article 6705 V.A.T.S., each of the undersigned persons or entities, hereinafter called Petitioners, being at least eight (8) freeholders in, and of the aforesaid precinct in which said road is located, here- by respectfully petition the Honorable Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, herein- after called the COURT, to discontinue and permanently to close the above described and above mentioned ROAD, and further to place this matter on the agenda of the Court for action at the first regular or special meeting of the Court occuring as soon as possible after expira- tion of twenty (20) days from the date of posting of this Petition. C. PHILLIPS, JAMES A. BLOYS, CLARENCE ST. CLAIR, EDNA A. ST. CLAIR, YVONNE DUDERSTADT and J. F.
