notice was posted at the courthouse door of the County Courthouse of Kerr County, Texas,
Kerrville, Texas, and at two other public places in the vicinity of the route of such road,
the same being at the beginning and termination of such road; that such written notice was
posted at said places more than at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of the granting
of this order; that such public road has never been improved nor maintained by the County
of Kerr, nor has it ever been opened or used by the public; that there is no public necessity
that such road, though originally dedicated to the public ever be or used as a public road;
that the hereinafter described road should be closed and discontinued; that all prerequisites
of law, whether mentioned specifically herein or not, have been duly and timely complied
with and that the following order should be entered.
It is, therefore, ORDERED that the following described public road be discontinued and
closed, such road being more fully described as follows, to-wit:
Said road lying entirely within the old G. C. Duderstadt Ranch properties which Formerly
was used as an access between that property generally known as the Reservation area of Kerr
County, Texas, to the Harper-Kerrville Road. Said road is no longer used as a through road
since the construction of IH 10 which divides said road. Said road begins off of State High-
way No. 27 at the property line of Dr. James A. Bloys (formerly J. F. Duderstadt) For a
distance of 1 mile through the property of Dr. James A. Bloys where it terminates at the
road bed and right of way line of IH 10. Beginning again at distance of approximately 600
feet on the opposite side of IH 10 on the J. F. Duderstadt Ranch for a distance of .6 of a
mile; thence .3 of a mile through property owned by Leona Ellebracht; and then through
property owned by Clarence St. Clair to Farm to Market Road No. 479.

NO. 12153 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO EXECUTE QUITCLAIM DEED TO DAVID HOUGH AND WIFE,
MARY DELL HOUGH, AS TO ABANDONED PORTION OF A ROADWAY IN SURVEY 124 IN PRECINCT
NO. 1
On this the 10th day of June, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of a request that Kerr County execute a quitclaim deed to an abandoned portion of
a roadway in Precinct No. 1 situated within Survey 124, F. Martinez, and it appearing to the
Court that the roadway concerned was originally located on a right of way granted Kerr County
by D. P. Braden in a deed recorded in Vol. 92, page 525, Kerr County Deed Records, but that
..-. a portion of said roadway has been relocated by mutual consent and public usage onto other
portions of the parent tract of abutting land originally owned by D. P. Braden, thus leaving
0.173 acres of such originally granted roadway as an abandoned area no longer used as a
public roadway and no longer required as such by Kerr County, and it further appearing to
the Court that David Hough and wife, Mary Dell Hough, are the present successors in title
to D. P. Braden as to all lands originally involved herein, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Bartel, and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County execute a quitclaim deed as to 0.173 acres of land out of Survey 124,
F, Martinez, occupied by the abandoned portions of the said original roadway to the said
David Hough and wife, Mary Dell Hough, and it is further ordered that the County Judge be
hereby authorized to execute and deliver the aforesaid quitclaim deed to the grantees.

On this the 10th day of June 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of the Commissioners' Court sitting as a Board of Equalization, and it appearing
to the Court that the same is a necessity; therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Bartel,
seconded by Commissioner Sallee, it was unanimously approved that the Commissioners' Court
convene on Monday, July 8th, 1974 at 9:00 o'clock A. M. thru Tuesday, July 9th, 1974 at 4:00
o'clock P. M., and that proper notices be published and also notices be mailed to those
