NO. 12160 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GRANT OFFER AND APPROVING AND ENTERING INTO GRANT AGREEMENT
AND AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO EXECUTE SAME
On this the 24th day of June 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Bartel, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County accept the Grant Agree-
ment, as submitted by the Chief, Houston Airports District Office, Federal Aviation Administra-
tion, under date of June 19, 1974, as set forth in "Exhibit A" to this order. (Said Exhibit
A to be filed, but not recorded).
BE IT RESOLVED by the Commissioners' Court of the County of Kerr, State of Texas:
SECTION 1: That the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, shall and does
hereby accept a Grant Offer of Federal Funds as made by the Chief, ftouston Airports District
Office, Federal Aviation Administration, under date of June 19, 1974, for the purposes there-
in set out; that the said Commissioners' Court of Kerr County hereby accepts all the terms,
conditions, and obligations therein and thereby imposed, and by its acceptance of same does
hereby ratify the Project Application and does hereby acknowledge said instruments as con-
stituting a solemn and binding agreement with the United States Government, for the purposes
of obtaining Federal Aid in the development of the Louis Schreiner Field Airport, and that
a copy of such agreement is annexed as Exhibit "A" hereto and made a part hereof as if set
forth at length herein.
SECTION 2. That the County Judge of Kerr County is hereby authorized and directed
to evidence the County's agreement by affixing his signature to such agreement, which is
hereby executed in quintuplicate, and the County Clerk of Kerr County is hereby authorized p/~Q/,~
and directed to impress the official seal of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, ~/
thereon and to attest said execution.
PASSED AND APPROVED by a majority vote of the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County,
Texas, and approved this 24th day of June, 1974.

On this the 24th day of June 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Bartel, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that Karnes County be accepted as a
member of the Alamo Resource and Conservation and Development Area.

On this the 24th day of June 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the application of E, A. Schreiber,
Sheriff, to appoint Paul E. Fields, Deputy Sheriff, as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County,
Texas, effective as of July 1, 1974, at a salary of $8000.00 per annum.

Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved a Plat of a Resubdivision of a 1.38 acre
Tract into Lots 9 - 12, being a resubdivision of Lot 6, Block 1 and the addition of a 1.00
acre tract to the Jasper Moore Subdivision No. 1, Ingram, Kerr County, Texas.
