Schwethelm Clinton M, Sallee Adolph Bartel Roger Stone County Judge Commissioner Precinct No. 1 Commissioner Precinct No. 2 Commissioner Precinct No, 3 Commissioner Precinct No, 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 12181 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO ENTER INTO AND SIGN CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH TEXAS HIGHWAY COMMISSION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN EXTENSION OF NORTH FRONTAGE ROAD ALONG IH 10 TO STATE HIGHWAY 16 On this the 25th day of July, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of a proposed agreement with the Texas Highway Commission for the construction of an extension of the North Frontage Road along Interstate Highway No, 10 in the vicinity of State Highway 16 which extension would provide access to State Highway 16 from the east end of the present dead end frontage road; and it appearing to the Court that the necessary right of way for this project has been procured at no net cost to Kerr County and that satisfactory arrangements have been made for the payment of estimated local costs for the construction of this project and that the construction of this project will serve an urgent public need which has resulted from the improvident planning of the original IH 10 frontage road, it is ordered ~/ N on motion by Commissioner Bartel, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County enter into the proposed agreement for the construction of this project and that the County Judge be and is hereby authorized to sign the aforesaid agree- ment for and on behalf of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 12182 ORDER ESTABLISHING IH 10 FRONTAGE ROAD ESCROW ACCOUNT WITH THE TREASURER OF KERR COUNTY On this the 25th day of July, 1974, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of the establishment of an account with the County Treasurer of Kerr County for the receipt and eventual disbursement by Kerr County of private funds being contributed for the purpose of defraying the estimated local costs for the construction of an extension of an existing frontage road on the north side of IH No. 10 to connect said frontage road with State Highway No. 16; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has agreed to enter into a contractual agreement with the Texas Highway Commission for the construction of said roadway and that Kerr County has committed itself to participate in a portion of such con- struction costs and utility relocation costs which in turn will be contributed from private sources, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Schwethelm, i°~6 ``~' e)~~ u and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Treasurer of Kerr County be directed to establish a separate account with the official depository of Kerr County to be designated as "IH 10 Frontage Road Escrow Account", and that all private funds contributed for the purpose of defraying the aforesaid frontage road extension be deposited by the County Treasurer in said fund pending their subsequent payment by Kerr County for utility relocation, for fencing, and to the Texas Highway Department for construction costs. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 12183 RESIGNATION OF LONNIE NARRAMORE AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this 25th day of July 1974, upon motion made by Commissioner Schwethelm, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Lonnie Narramore, Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective July 21, 1974 and that he be granted leave with pay through July 31, 1974. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED JULY 25, 1974 at 3:10 o'clock P. S. D. A. Tract, in the amount of $798.35, and that the Clerk and Treasur- er be authorized to draw a voucher on the I.
